Jane Percy is an experienced, values driven leader with more than 20 years’ experience in social care. Throughout her career, she has championed high quality, person centred support for children, young people and adults with complex needs.

Jane joined Shaftesbury in 2016 when it merged with the learning disability charity Prospects. She moved into her current senior leadership role in 2019. Since then, she has helped shape Shaftesbury’s direction and approach to Care Operations across England, Northern Ireland and Wales. Her work has focused on improving services, driving innovation and strengthening the organisation as a whole.

As an Executive Director, Jane oversees several key areas, including Business Systems, Business Development, Quality, Compliance & Innovation and Shared Services. She is known for linking day to day operations with long term strategy and for helping to improve services and the experience of the people Shaftesbury supports.

Jane leads with compassion, integrity and a strong commitment to helping every person live a life that “adds up for them.” Her faith is an important part of who she is and influences her belief in dignity, hope and potential for everyone.
