Livability Vice Patron receives OBE

January 7 2014

The warmest of congratulations from everybody at Livability to our Vice Patron, Lady Marina Hobson for receiving an OBE in this year’s New Year’s Honours.  Lady Hobson’s award was for her services to ballet and philanthropy.

Lady Hobson’s contribution to British philanthropy was first recognised in 2000 when she was awarded an MBE. As a supporter of first John Grooms and then Livability, she has helped our ambitious capital appeal projects over the years including services at Brookside, John Grooms Court and, most recently, our Sparkle Appeal at Victoria Education Centre.

Lady Hobson has made an enormous difference through these projects to help raise the quality of our services for disabled people of all ages and to help them achieve their potential.
