Livability staff awards for 2018 – date announced

March 15 2018

Livability has announced that the 25th April 2018 will be the date of this year’s staff awards. Attendance is by invitation.

The Livability Staff Awards showcase the contribution of our amazing staff and volunteers around the Livability community. Hosted by Livability and with awards endorsed by our charity patron HRH The Princess Royal – the event is an important moment in our charity calendar.

From care and support workers, cleaners and administration teams, volunteers or team leaders – the awards celebrate achievement, attitude and values-driven performance.

The staff awards will be a rich celebration of amazing people and the wonderful stories of how they are making ‘it all add up’ for the people they support or serve. Award winners will be acknowledged for their contribution to others and how they have lived out the charity values of being open, enabling, inclusive and courageous.

Awards from HRH The Princess Royal

This year, there will be six royal awards presented, which have been officially signed by HRH The Princess Royal, for Outstanding Staff Achievement, Outstanding Staff Achievement (Team), Outstanding Supporter & Volunteer and Amazing Achievement.

A series of 12 Trustee Awards will also be given to people in the above categories.

Awards presented by Lord Shaftesbury

Livability is a charity with a 170 heritage, that began with our founders John Grooms and Lord Shaftesbury.

Inspired by this heritage, we are proud to enjoy the company of the 12th Earl of Shaftesbury – Nick Ashley Cooper – who will present this year’s awards.

Nick says: ‘As Vice President of Livability, I am proud to know first-hand how that founding vision continues to inspire the charity’s staff and volunteers today.’
