The first Business Academy event for disabled entrepreneurs organised jointly by Shaftesbury, Scope and Natwest has proved a resounding success.
Over 150 budding entrepreneurs attended the free event on 13 February and were able to receive valuable advice and information on becoming self-employed or on developing a newly launched business.
They also attended seminars on identifying funding sources and on making the best use of social media as a marketing tool.
