This iconic, fully accessible event returns this summer for its fourth year with even more challenge events and activities for all ages, health conditions and abilities. Parallel Windsor is more than a challenge event – it’s a vibrant Festival of Inclusivity that celebrates disability inclusion, wellbeing and community. Shaftesbury will be there and we’d love you to join us.
See the highlights from 2025:
As part of #TeamShaftesbury, you can either take part in one of the races, 100m to 10k; rock your moves in the Greatest Dancer competition or take on the SuperSensory challenge – the choice is yours!
Whether you choose to walk, push or run, there are no cut‑off times. The event’s motto is ‘Start Together, Finish Whenever.
Entry also includes access to the festival of inclusivity, with music, food, interactive games, arts and crafts and more to keep the whole family entertained.
