Andrew is an executive coach and facilitator, working with senior leaders in diverse organisations. Formerly Head of Leadership Development at the BBC, he led initiatives to strengthen the capability of 2,000 leaders in the UK nations and globally. He also developed and delivered external learning programmes, including a joint project for emerging leaders from Gaza and Israel.
Andrew has worked closely with higher education in the commissioning and delivery of management apprenticeships and leadership development programmes. He began his career as a radio presenter in Cambridge and went on to lead large editorial teams, including BBC West in Bristol.
In response to the Hutton Inquiry, he established the Journalism Foundation, a comprehensive education programme to support values-driven reporting. Andrew is a keen runner and a season ticket holder at Bristol City FC. He’s a member of the leadership team at his local Methodist Church where he also plays organ and keyboards for services.
